MWM opposes talks with TTP

Islamabad: Central Secretary General of Majlis Wehdatul Muslimeen (MWM), Syed Nasir Abbas Sherazi has strongly condemned the government’s decision to negotiate with Tehreek Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad he said the public will react with full force against Talibanisation, having a soft corner for murderers is treachery with motherland.

“Negotiations with killers is like supporting them, some elements are planning against the peace of Parachinar, their evil designs are underway to destabilize the sensitive area of Kurram”, he maintained.

Nasir Sherazi said that government should control the forces who are involved in backing the militant groups.

After declaring Kurram as a district F.C should no more responsible for the area, now according to constitution of Pakistan, Provincial Police should take over the control of law and order. Other administrative issue also required the provincial government to handle them through bureaucrats.

Here the situation is totally different, after killing the peoples belonging different sects, giving it the name of sectarian violence.

The killing of a medical student near Sadda and other killings are the part of plan by those elements who want to destabilize the peaceful ara of Kurram.

The ‘blasphemer’ Sultan Gul hurt the sentiments of Shias of the area to start a sectarian violence among Sunni and Shia brothers. State machinery should nab such culprits.

TTP’s demand to rolling back of the merger of the country’s tribal areas totally unacceptable.
