Naval Chief, Commander National Strategic Command Discuss Maritime Security, Strategic Preparedness


Islamabad: Newly appointed Commander National Strategic Command, General Syed Aamer Raza, called on Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf at Naval Headquarters in Islamabad on Tuesday to discuss matters related to national security and maritime preparedness.



Upon his arrival at Naval Headquarters, General Syed Aamer Raza was received by the Naval Chief. Admiral Naveed Ashraf congratulated General Syed Aamer Raza on assuming charge as the first Commander National Strategic Command.



During the meeting, the Naval Chief highlighted the prevailing maritime security challenges and briefed the visiting commander on Pakistan Navy’s comprehensive preparedness to ensure maritime security and safeguard the country’s national interests. General Syed Aamer Raza appreciated the operational readiness of Pakistan Navy and its role in protecting the nation’s maritime frontiers.
