Lahore: Negotiating committees from government and opposition sides have been constituted on the matter of reference against suspended opposition members in Punjab Assembly (PA). Sources said government and opposition negotiating committees have been formed on the matter of reference.

Government committee includes Mujtaba Shuja ur Rehman, Suleman Rafiq, Rana Arshid, Sami Ullah and Ahmad Iqbal.

Sources said Ali Haider Gillani, Shafay Hussain and Shoaib Siddiqui too are included in government committee. Opposition leader Malik Ahmad Khan Bhachar will lead negotiating committee from opposition side. Sources said second session of negotiating committee of opposition and government will take place today (Sunday).

Speaker PA can drop the reference against suspended members of assembly if the talks succeed. It is pertinent to mention here opposition had created rumpus in assembly session on June 27 and speaker had suspended member ship of assembly in respect of 26 members and announced to send reference for their disqualification to Election Commission.
