ISLAMABAD: NEPRA has accorded approval to scale up the electricity tariff by Rs 1.25 per unit under head of third quarterly adjustment.

It has been said in NEPRA circular that DISCOS had filed application for Rs 46.28 billion under the head of quarterly adjustment.

Rs 78 paisas per unit will be charged more to the consumers as compared to second and third quarterly adjustment.

Adjustment will be applicable to all consumers of DISCOs except life line consumers.

The decision will not apply to K-Electric consumers.
