Islamabad: Information Ministry while refuting the reporting of foreign TV has made it clear that no road has been blocked in Islamabad and containers have been placed in different areas under the order of Islamabad High Court for the protection of citizens.

According to ministry of information the safety measures have been taken keeping in view violent incidents and attitude in past which aim at maintaining law and order situation and ensuring the safety of the citizens. These steps have been taken under the responsibility of the state to maintain law and order situation in the perspective of court's order.

According to statement the foreign TV presented these steps merely as closure of roads and neglected the facts while all roads are open.

The ministry of information while terming the reporting of foreign TV unilateral , misleading and a bid to create negative impression said the facts cannot be changed due to such propaganda.
