Nov 26 protest case: copies of challan distributed, arrest warrants of absenting accused issued

Islamabad: Copies of challan were distributed among the present accused during the hearing of November 26 protest case while arrest warrants of absent accused were issued Wednesday.

The accused will be indicted on next hearing.

Azadi March and November 26 protest cases against PTI founder and others leaders came up for hearing Wednesday in Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad led by judge Tahir Abbas Sipra.

Sardar Muhammad Masroof Khan , Murtaza Toori and Zahid Bashir Dar appeared in the court on behalf of PTI founder and workers.

PTI leadership is on bail in the case. Hearing of the case regarding Azadi March -2022 registered in police station Sangjani could not move ahead due to non availability of PTI founder.

The court while expressing displeasure on not coming any reply to the letter written to law ministry remarked bring this letter or decision. Tell on next date prosecution wants what.

In November 26 protest case, the court distributed copies of challan among the accused who were present.

The accused will be indicted on next hearing. Arrest warrants of absent accused were issued.

Later the court directed the prosecution to present clear stance on next hearing so that case could be moved forward.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case till July 26.
