Nov 26 protest case: Court issues non bailable arrest warrants of Aleema Khan for 10th time

Rawalpindi: Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi has issued non bailable arrest warrants of Aleema Khan sister of PTI founder for the 10th time in November 26 protest case. Judge Amjid Ali Shah of ATC heard the case Thursday.

Aleema Khan did not appear in the court. The accused left the court after their attendance was marked.

The other 10 accused appeared in the court. Defence Counsel Faisal Malik said Aleema Khan will not appear today. We have challenged the terrorism related clauses of the case. This case cannot be made under terrorism clauses.

The court while directing to arrest Aleema Khan and present her before it on November 17 adjourned the hearing of the case. The court has again sought details of the property owned by Aleema Khan in Islamabad and Punjab . Show cause notice was issued to 2 bank managers for not freezing bank accounts.
