Nov 26 protest case: Interim bail of PTI leaders extended

Islamabad: Interim bail of central leaders of PTI has been extended in the different cases registered against them in connection with November 26 protest.

Interim bail pleas of Bushra Bibi wife of Imran Khan, senior lawyer Suleman Akram Raja, Sher Afzal Marwat, Umair Niazi, Ali Bokhari and other leaders are pending hearing in the cases registered against them in different police stations.

Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) directed arguments will be given by all accused persons on next hearing and all the bail pleas will be heard simultaneously.

Sher Afzal Marwat, Umair Niazi and other accused persons appeared in the court in today's hearing.

Exemption from attendance pleas were filed by Bushra Bibi and Suleman Akram Raja which were accepted by the court.

Cases are registered against PTI leaders in the police stations including Karachi company, Kohsar, Margalla, Aabpara, Tarnol and Secretariat.

Hearing of bail plea of Bushra Bibi in connection with case registered against her in police station secretariat was adjourned till June 24.

The defence counsel told the court the bail pleas of other accused are also fixed in these cases which should be heard simultaneously.

The court while agreeing to these agreements fixed the hearing of all bail pleas on June 24.
