Rawalpindi: Aleema Khan sister of PTI founder Imran Khan has challenged proceedings of indictment and entire case related to November 26 protest .
Aleema Khan has challenged powers of jurisdiction of court as well.
The court while admitting the petition for hearing revoked non-bailable arrest warrants of Aleema Khan.
The petition said allegation of conveying a message from Imran Khan and not her participation in protest has been leveled against Aleema Khan. Constitution allows every one to free speech. Section 7 ATA of terrorism is not applicable to delivering a message. If conveying message is terrorism then this message was transmitted by media too.
It was further said in the petition that Aleema Khan told 10 to 15 people about this message and media spread it among all nation. This way media too be held responsible under this allegation. Therefore, section 7-ATA of terrorism be removed from the case. This case be dismissed being illegal .
The court while admitting the petition for hearing issued notice to government and prosecutor.
The proceedings of indictment against Aleema Khan and others was also deferred.
Aleeam Khan, Uzma Khan and Noreen Khan left the kutchery for Adiala jail after court's proceedings.
