ISLAMABAD: PML-N Quaid has directed federal minister Ahsan Iqbal to make preparations for intra party election.

Ahsan Iqbal met Mian Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz in London.

The overall political and economic situation of the country came under discussion during the meeting. Maryam Nawaz was also present in the meeting.

According to sources the prevailing political situation in Punjab and the existing structure of the party came under discussion.

Nawaz Sharif directed him to make preparations for intra party election.

Nawaz Sharif said to Ahsan Iqbal that out of box decisions will have to be made to activate party. We will have to come out of traditional methods now.

Ahsan Iqbal gave detailed briefing to Maryam Nawaz on party matters.

Maryam Nawaz decided to make big changes in party particularly in Punjab.

Sources said Ahsan Iqbal also made request to Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz to return to Pakistan soon.
