Islamabad: The Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemned recent statements by the U.S. Ambassador to Israel, which suggested acceptance of Israeli control over Arab territories.

The statement received joint condemnation from the foreign ministers of Pakistan, Egypt, Jordan, the UAE, Indonesia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine, alongside the secretariats of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the Arab League, and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

These statements were described as a blatant violation of international law and the UN Charter and a serious threat to regional peace and stability. They were further noted to be contradictory to U.S. President Donald J. Trump's vision and his comprehensive plan to resolve the Gaza conflict.

The joint declaration reaffirmed Pakistan's and other Arab states' commitment to:

Establishment of a free and sovereign Palestinian state

Denial of any Israeli sovereignty over occupied Palestinian territories or other occupied Arab lands

Strong rejection of any attempt to annex the West Bank or separate it from the Gaza Strip

Opposition to the expansion of settlements in occupied territories and protection of Arab states' sovereignty from any threats

Condemnation of Israeli expansionist policies and illegal actions, recognizing them as drivers of violence and conflict in the region

Demand for the cessation of provocative statements that undermine peace

Reaffirmation of the Palestinian right to self-determination and establishment of a state based on June 4, 1967 borders, ending occupation of all Arab lands

The collective response emphasized that Israel must cease all illegal expansion and settlement activities, ensuring peace, stability, and respect for the rights of the Palestinian people.
