Pakistan Armed Forces shot down 25 Israel-made Harop drones used in Indian attacks: ISPR

Rawalpindi: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the Pakistan Armed Forces have successfully shot down 25 Israeli-manufactured Harop drones, using both soft-kill (technical) and hard-kill (weapons) measures.According to the ISPR, India resorted to these drone attacks in a state of panic following the destruction of five modern aircraft, drones, multiple posts, and casualties in its ranks during its cowardly assault on May 6–7."The use of Israeli-made Harop drones is a clear sign of India's frustration," the statement said. It added that debris from these drones is being recovered from various regions in Pakistan.The ISPR also confirmed that India has suffered significant losses along the Line of Control and continues to face damage due to Pakistan's robust defence."Pakistan's Armed Forces are giving a crushing response to the enemy and are foiling all its nefarious designs," the statement concluded.Director General ISPR, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said that Pakistan Armed Forces, being in a high state of alert and vigilance, have neutralized twelve Harop drones of India at various locations in Pakistan.Giving an update on latest situation in the backdrop of Pak-India stand-off, DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, said on Thursday night, India undertook yet another blatant military act of aggression against Pakistan by sending Harop Drones at multiple locations.Giving break up, he said these locations are Lahore, Gujranwala, Chakwal, Rawalpindi, Attock, Bahawalpur, Miyano, and Chore near Karachi.He said other than these drones, one drone managed to engage a military target near Lahore partially in which four men of Pakistan Army were injured, and the equipment was also damaged partially.He further said that in another drone activity in Miyano, one civilian embraced martyrdom while another sustained injuries.The DG ISPR said the process of India's sending of these drones, which is naked aggression, is continuing while the Armed Forces of Pakistan ar e on high degree of alert and neutralizing them. He made it clear that this is a serious provocation.Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said having miserably failed on the night between 6th and 7th May, when they attacked places of worship, civilian infrastructure and killed innocent civilians including children and women and elderly, and not only that having faced the destructions of five of their aircrafts, multiple drones and suffering heavy casualties along the Line of Control, it appears that India has apparently lost the plot.He said rather than going on path of rationality, India is further escalating highly charged environment to satisfy the hubristic mindset of the Indian government.The DG ISPR said the international community can visibly see the path that India is threading to this extremely provocative military aggression in a region, which is highly fragile and putting the security of the region and beyond at risk.Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry reiterated that Pakistan Arme d Forces remain fully vigilant in any type of threat.
