Islamabad: Pakistan has categorically rejected 'baseless, misleading and highly irresponsible' remarks made by the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, accusing New Delhi of resorting to habitual denial and diversionary tactics to conceal its own subversive activities in the region and beyond.

In a press statement responding to media queries, Pakistan's Foreign Office spokesperson said that India's track record of sponsoring terrorism and violence on Pakistani soil is well documented and internationally recognized. This includes support for attacks on civilian infrastructure, such as school buses and passenger trains, financing sabotage operations, and sheltering terrorists. The statement cited the case of Kulbhushan Jadhav, an Indian intelligence operative convicted in Pakistan for espionage and terrorism, as evidence of India's destabilizing designs.

The statement emphasized that no amount of propaganda or diversion can obscure India's ongoing efforts to subvert regional peace. Pakistan reaffirmed its commitment to expose such activities and to stand resolutely against any attempts to undermine its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The Foreign Office urged India to end its habitual blame-game and instead reflect on its record of state-sponsored subversion, human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), and extraterritorial provocations.
