Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Ishaq Dar has said intercepting Sumud Flotilla carrying humanitarian aid for Gaza by Israel is blatant violation of human rights and Pakistan has started talks through an influential third European Country for release of all detained Pakistanis.
A further headway is likely on Sunday in this regard, he added.
He said this while speaking in National Assembly (NA) .
He held no change has come in Pakistan stance on two state solution of Palestine.
There is no deviation from Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah's policy on Palestine.
He said Pakistan stance on Palestine is the same as Quaid-e-Azam's policy .
He reiterated Pakistan's unwavering demand for an independent and sovereign Palestinian state, with Quds al-Sharif as its capital.
Pakistan will never go back from this stance, he added.
The Deputy PM further said that a Pakistani senator was also aboard the Sumud Flotilla, and Pakistan has no ties with Israel. Israel has seized 22 boats and detained people, including former senator Mushtaq Ahmad. Pakistan is in contact with an influential European country for the release of all detained Pakistanis.
Talking about Saudi agreement, Dar said, Pakistan considers Saudi Arabia defence its responsibility. Attack on Saudi Arabia will be considered attack on Pakistan.
'We would sacrifice our lives for the Haramain Sharifain. This deal did not happen overnight. Talks began during the PDM government, and this government accelerated it. Allah has blessed us with the role of servants and protectors, for which I am grateful.'
Following this agreement other Arab and Muslim countries have contacted Pakistan for defence agreement.
Terming this development a vital step towards establishment of Eastern NATO he said Pakistan can lead the Muslim Ummah; after being a nuclear power, we must also become an economic power.'

No mention of any woman was made in letter addressed to UN Secretary General,. However name of this woman was there in another letter. Its procedure was not correct.
