Karachi: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has said Pakistan is facing complicated internal and external security challenges at present.

"Following humiliating defeat in previous year conflict, India through its secret operations and proxy elements is sabotaging hard achieved peace and stability of Pakistan, PM said this while addressing passing out parade at Pakistan Naval Academy PNS Rahbar as chief guest.

On the other side our brave armed forces are countering terrorism on our western borders valiantly, he said adding the entire Pakistan nation stands shoulder to shoulder with our armed forces and is determined to foil nefarious designs of enemy.

Pakistan is adhering to policy of peace , dialogue and diplomacy to resolve all outstanding conflicts.

Pakistan is steadfast in its resolve to support right to self determination of people Kashmir, people of Ghaza and Palestinians and for sake of justice.

My address is taking place at such time when the world is passing through extra ordinary changes.

He held Pakistan as a peace loving country is maintaining its identity in international community.

Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding was signed by US and Iran due to cooperation of brother and friendly countries and selfless efforts of Pakistan. I being mediator too signed it.

He said Pakistan-Iran ties would further strengthen following the recent visit of the Iranian president.

Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to the Chief of Defense Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for his untiring efforts to bring all parties together to follow the path of peace and tranquility.

Congratulating the newly commissioned officers, the Prime Minister praised their dedication and urged them to uphold the highest traditions of professionalism, courage, discipline, and patriotism.

He expressed firm commitment of the government to modernizing and strengthening the Pakistan Navy to ensure the country's maritime defense.
