Islamabad: In view of security situation Foreign Office (FO) while issuing new travel advisory has advised Pakistani nationals to avoid unnecessary traveling to Iran.
In the travel advisory issued by FO it has been said the situation in the region is uncertain due to recent tension and attacks. Therefore, Pakistani citizens should remain cautious and vigilant and obtain full information before traveling.
According to FO spokesperson Pakistani nationals in Iran should remain in contact with nearby diplomatic mission and ensure their registration.
Government gives top priority to safety and security of its citizens and it is maintaining persistent watch over the situation .
Emergency contact numbers have also been issued by FO. As soon as any improvement comes in the situation, the citizens will be informed.
