Pakistan Navy Reviews Strategic Preparedness at Command and Staff Conference

Islamabad: Pakistan Navy's Command and Staff Conference concluded at Naval Headquarters in Islamabad, chaired by Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, with participation of Principal Staff Officers and Field Commanders.

The Naval Chief emphasized the importance of maintaining perpetual combat readiness to counter both traditional and non-traditional maritime threats. In light of the evolving situation in the Middle East, he highlighted concerns over freedom of navigation, security of Sea Lines of Communication (SLOCs), and instability at key maritime choke points.

He underscored the need for acquiring cutting-edge technologies to meet emerging challenges and reaffirmed Pakistan Navy's commitment to ensuring regional maritime security and stability. The Navy's continued presence in the Gulf of Oman was noted as a reassurance to the global maritime community.

The forum also marked the first anniversary of 'Marka-e-Haq,' paying tribute to sacrifices made during the May 2025 conflict, terming it a symbol of national unity and resolve.

A comprehensive review of operational preparedness, ongoing initiatives, and future plans was conducted to align naval strategies with evolving regional dynamics.
