Islamabad: Foreign Office (FO) has brushed aside Indian statement on Pakistan action against terrorist infrastructure in Afghanistan. FO has said Indian statement is reflective of its open hypocrisy.
FO spokesperson Tahir Andrabi while terming Indian ministry of External Affairs statement on Pakistan action against the terrorists in Afghanistan baseless, misleading and inappropriate has rejected it strongly.
The spokesperson said the terrorist acts are continuing against Pakistan from Afghan soil under the sponsorship of India . The Indian statement in such perspective reflects its blatant hypocrisy and double standards.
He said a country which is involved in barbarity against the Muslim population and has announced unconditional support for occupying power is giving lesson of principles to others.
According to spokesperson these statements are an attempt to divert attention from ongoing Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir. India itself has been undermining the regional integrity of neighboring countries.
The Foreign Office said India must refrain from supporting and sponsoring terrorist groups operating from Afghan soil, including those listed under the UN Security Council sanctions list. In this regard, India should cease its misplaced lament over Pakistan's successful counter-terrorism measures.
