Islamabad: Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik met H.E. Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, to discuss bilateral cooperation, particularly in the minerals and energy sectors.

During the meeting, Minister Malik conveyed Pakistan's deep respect for Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and highlighted the historic, people-to-people, and cultural ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

The Federal Minister confirmed Pakistan's full participation in the upcoming Future Minerals Forum (FMF) in Riyadh later this month. Pakistan will establish a dedicated pavilion titled 'Pakistan - The Mineral Marvel' to showcase the country's vast geological potential. The delegation, led by Minister Malik, will include thirteen state-owned and private sector mineral companies. The pavilion and related activities will be organized by the Ministry of Energy, Petroleum Division, and Pakistan Petroleum Limited.

A 90-minute Country Showcase Session at FMF will feature the Federal Minister, CEOs, foreign investors, and international experts, focusing on 'Unleashing Potential: Accelerating Pakistan's Mineral Revolution.' The pavilion will also serve as a prelude to the Pakistan Mineral Investment Forum (PMIF) 2026 in Islamabad, aimed at attracting international participation.

Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy welcomed Pakistan's participation and emphasized the strong brotherly relations and potential for collaboration in the minerals and energy sectors. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and promoting mutual economic growth.
