Pakistan’s system has failed, creation of new provinces can improve governance: Talha Mahmood

Islamabad: Senator Talha Mahmood has said that the issue of provinces is one of Pakistan's biggest challenges, stressing that the creation of new provinces would be beneficial for the country.

Addressing the Hazara Province Convention, Talha Mahmood thanked the participants for attending the event on short notice and said the voice of the Hazara province movement had spread across Pakistan.

He said Pakistan's system had failed, adding that unemployment was also a manifestation of the system's failure.

Talha Mahmood said if new provinces were created, the question of resources would also have to be addressed. He stressed that everyone must work for the country and the nation.

He said that even after 79 years, the dreams of the country's elders had not yet been fully realised.

Talha Mahmood also said that economic improvement in Pakistan would help address the challenge of terrorism.
