Islamabad: Government has sought names from all political parties for representation in Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) in the matter of parliamentary investigations into PIMS tragedy. As per parliamentary sources National Assembly (NA) had adopted resolution on Friday for establishment of joint parliamentary committee for investigation into PIMS tragedy. The process for formation of committee has been geared up.

Sources said all the parties will be given representation in joint parliamentary committee. Government has requested all the parties to provide name. According to parliamentary sources formal notification for constitution of joint parliamentary committee will be issued as soon as the names are received from the political parties.

The committee will review different aspects of PIMS tragedy and investigate the matter at parliamentary level.
