Lahore: Home department has filed report in Lahore High Court (LHC) on the petition filed against detention of Aleema Khan sister of Imran Khan and her driver.

The petition against detention of Aleema Khan and her driver came up for hearing in LHC Friday.

Justice Abhar Gul Khan of LHC took up for hearing the petition filed by Shahrez Khan son of Aleema Khan.

Counsels Rana Mudassar Umar and Barrister Taimore appeared on behalf of the petitioner.

During the hearing of the case report was filed by home department in the court.

The report said home department has fixed Aleema Khan petition in connection with her detention for hearing on Monday.

The counsel for the petitioner took the plea Chief Justice (CJ) LHC while taking stern notice of the matter of FIR font had issued orders. The notification regarding detention of Aleema Khan is replete with errors.

The counsel requested SP and Deputy Commissioner (DC) be summoned in person and explanation be sought from them.

The counsel for the petitioner further told the court difficulties are being faced in providing clothes and medicines to Aleema Khan.

The counsel requested the court to issue orders for taking the clothes and medicines to jail.

The court remarked a separate miscellaneous petition be filed for providing clothes and medicines.

The court called report from the respective respondents related to notification of Aleema Khan detention.

After court's proceedings, counsel Rana Mudassar Umar while talking to media men said such evidences have been attached with the petition according to which their client is innocent.

He said the detention orders be withdrawn forthwith.
