Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has fixed for hearing petition seeking closure of Imran Khan's X account.
The court has fixed for hearing the petition seeking closure of PTI founder Imran Khan X account (former twitter account) on November 04.
Registrar office has issued cause list of the case in this regard. Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir will hear the case.
It is pertinent to mention here IHC has already issued notice to Imran Khan and sought reply from him.
The court has already sought reply too from National Cyber Crime Agency, Superintendent jail and other respondents.
A citizen Ghulam Murtaza has filed petition through lawyer barrister Zafar Ullah stating that the posts made from the official account of a convicted prisoner while in jail are unlawful, inflammatory, and malicious.
The petitioner has requested the court for removing the alleged disruptive posts from the X account and preventing their dissemination.
