Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has said terrorism which was completely eliminated in 2018 is resurging in Balochistan and other areas.
Addressing National Workshop Balochistan (NWB) he said Baloch leaders made historical decision of joining Pakistan voluntarily.
He held history, culture and traditions of Blaochistan make it unique. God has blessed Balochistan with immense natural resources but regrettably its wealth still lies buried underground.
Neglecting Balochistan during previous decades is itself a moment of self-accountability. People of Balochistan have always been broad minded and hospitable.
He underlined lasting harmony has existed between diverse communities in Balochistan. The geographical structure of the province has become challenge in the journey to its development.
He underscored providing roads and electricity to the remote populations is a problem.
The development in industrial and education sector remains next to impossible without a robust roads net work. Development of Balochistan is interlinked to collective development of Pakistan.
PM said the spirit of federation lies in mutual sacrifice and brotherhood.
Consensus among the provinces is foundation of strong Pakistan. We all together will have to play role for the development of the country. We are first Pakistani and then are inhabitants of the province.
Referring to the 2010 NFC Award, he highlighted that Punjab made a historic sacrifice, demonstrating that consensus among provinces forms the foundation of a strong Pakistan.

Loss of lives is occurring daily on Karachi to Chamman high way. Decision was taken to dualise the high way at the cost of Rs 350 billions.
We want blood road is converted into road of peace.
PM said all the provinces of Pakistan are like a family. Peace, unity and brotherhood is guarantor of development.
He asserted Pakistan will become a great country.
