Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) has fixed for hearing petition filed in connection with prices of petroleum products.

Justice Khalid Ishaq of LHC will hear the petition on September 30.

Court has already sought report from counsel for federal government in this regard.

Petition has been filed by Judicial Activism panel through Azhar Siddique advocate.

The petitioner has taken the plea prices of petroleum products are increased in Pakistan despite less prices of petroleum products in international market.

Government has what mechanism for increasing or decreasing petroleum products prices. It is not clear.
