Lahore: Prosecutor General Punjab (PGP) Syed Farhad Ali Shah has taken stern notice of the incident of keeping sister and brother in prison since two years to grab their property besides appointing two special prosecutors for pursuing the case.

PGP Syed Farhad Ali Shah took stern notice of keeping brother and sister in prison since two years to grab their property.

The investigation officer appeared in prosecution office along with the record following the declaration of the case a high profile case.

The investigation officer told PGP the relatives kept two orphan sister and brother in a village at Chakwal since two years in order to grab their property valuing million of rupees.

It was further said that some unknown person informed the local police station about the details through a letter. Police conducted raid and they found sister of affected person lying dead. The affected person was subjected to mental torture and violence.

Body of the woman was sent to hospital for postmortem. The close relatives murdered the sister and made her brother mentally incapacitated.

PGP inquired where is affected person at present and how is his mental condition.

The investigation officer told the affected person is kept in police station.

PGP expressed resentment over keeping the affected person in police station.

He said that stern action will be taken against such persons as per directives of chief minister Punjab.

PGP issued order for ensuring security of affected person under protection of witnesses law-2018.

PGP while directing to take all possible measures for safety of the affected person sought implementation report from investigation officer within two days.
