PGTA announces to raise fare

Islamabad: Pakistan Goods Transport Alliance (PGTA) has announced to raise fare due to hike in the prices of petroleum products.

President PGRA Malik Shahzad Awan said in his statement over hike in the prices of petroleum products transporters all over Pakistan condemn upsurge in the prices of petroleum products.

He said we announce to increase 10 percent fare of goods transport due to hike in the prices of petroleum products.

He stated inflation is on rise in the country due to enhancement in the prices of petroleum products. Millions of people are becoming jobless due to wrong policies of government.

He demanded all challans including motorway police challans be abolished.

On the other hand public transporters have announced to raise fare of public transport by 5 percent besides implementing it from Saturday.
