Peshawar: Peshawar High Court (PHC) has granted protective bail to PTI leader Zartaj Gul.The court while issuing written order on protective bail application of PTI leader has granted her protective bail till August 11.The court said in its order Zartaj Gul be not arrested till August 11 in connection with Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) July 31 decision.ATC Faisalabad has awarded 10 years sentence to PTI leader.It has been said in the order the petitioner wants to file appeal plea in Lahore High Court against her sentence. ATC has announced sentence in her absence.According to court the accused has right to transparent trial and her defence as per constitution. The petitioner Zartaj Gul has surrendered herself before the court.It was said in the order that we deem it proper opportunity to file appeal in Lahore High Court (LHC) be given.It was further said in the order she should not be arrested till her surrendering before LHC. Zartaj Gul is granted bail against Rs 1 lac and two surety bonds.
