Peshawar: Peshawar High Court (PHC) has suspended Election Commission (EC) notice issued to Dr Amjid special assistant to Chief Minister (CM) KP.The court has sought reply from EC.The petitioner told the court he is being subjected to political victimization. Court should seek reply from EC on it .The case against issuance of notice by EC to Dr Amjid came up for hearing in PHC Monday.A 2-member bench of PHC presided over by justice Ejaz Anwar heard the case,The counsel for petitioner said a political worker from Swat had filed application against Dr Amjid in EC. Through the application EC was requested to disqualify Dr Amjid. EC asked speaker to initiate proceedings against Dr Amjid.The counsel said the petitioner is being subjected to political victimization.The court while suspending EC notice sought reply and adjourned the hearing of the case.
