Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) while seeking report presented to Prime Minister (PM) on PIMS tragedy has ordered federation to file detailed reply in this case.

Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Sarfraz Dogar said this is horrible incident. 14 children have lost their lives. We ask what has been done so far.

The petition seeking judicial inquiry into PIMS tragedy came up for hearing in IHC.

CJ IHC Sarfraz Dogar heard the petition.

The CJ IHC inquired the court can give direction for judicial inquiry under what law. Where is written in inquiry act that court can give directives.

Counsel Qasim Iqbal said commission was appointed in PITC incident.

CJ IHC said that commission was not constituted by the court. Government has to do this job.

Additional Attorney General (AAG) said the day this incident had occurred secretary health was suspended on the same day. PIMS officials have been suspended on interim report.
