Islamabad: Plan for attack on National Assembly (NA) speaker Ayyaz Sadiq by designated opposition leader in NA Mehmood Khan Achakzai has been revealed.

As per sources a controversial incident took place in NA on Tuesday.

Mehmood Khan Achakzai demanded for removing NA speaker from chair forcibly during the session.

According to sources Mehmood Khan Achakzai said if we have to achieve our right then we will have to do all this.

Several key leaders including barrister Gohar, Ali Muhammad Khan and Aamir Dogar opposed this plan.

They said attack on chair of speaker will be attack on democracy and parliament. This way parliament's doors to opposition will stand shut.

Achakzai went calm and quiet after opposition.

Reacting to this incident speaker NA Ayyaz Sadiq said they are exposing their real face through such mean tactics. I ran the house in democratic way always and I have upheld law and constitution. Forceful reply will be given to any such move.

He inquired if Achakzai is not made opposition leader then will he do this all.

This incident reflects the intensifying tension between government and opposition in NA.
