PM directs petroleum minister to take measures for public relief with reference to price of fuel

Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has directed petroleum minister to reach Karachi immediately and to take immediate measures for public relief with reference to prices of fuel.

Petroleum minister Ali Pervaiz Malik called on PM.

Information Minister Atta Ullah Tarar, minister for economic affairs Ahad Khan Cheema, minister for climate change Dr Musaddaq Malik and MNA Hamza Shahbaz were also present in the meeting.

PM directed Petroleum minister Ali Pervaiz Malik to reach Karachi soon and hold talks with Oil Refineries.

PM said petroleum minister to ensure reduction in prices of diesel which is produced at local level.

Most of the diesel is produced by local refineries. Petroleum minister should himself complete talks with refineries in respect of reduction of prices as soon as possible and provide relief to people.
