PM hails TI’s report on public perception of corruption in Pakistan

Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif while expressing satisfaction over Transparency International's Report on public perception of corruption in Pakistan has said majority of people has declared government steps for revival of national economy successful. .

It is good omen, he said this in a statement issued here Tuesday.

This report from Transparency International bears evidence to success of reforms introduced by the government.

We worked on priority basis for forceful system of merit and transparency in every department of the government. We are working more in this regard.

Improving economic indicators , reforms and government policies and actions that have received positive public feedback are the result of effective teamwork.

Efforts of Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Finance Minister Mohammad Aurangzeb and his team are highly commendable, he added.
