Islamabad: Amir Tufail, Managing Director (MD) Sui Northern Gas Company (SNGC) has said Prime Minister (PM) has lifted ban on domestic connection of sui gas to facilitate people.

Approval has been accorded for LNG connections.

Addressing a press conference in regional office Islamabad Wednesday he said target of 3 lac connection will be met this year and from next year 6 lac domestic connections will be given every year.

Monitoring units have been set up in head offices of SNGPL in this regard.

Monitoring units have been established at regional level as well.

Demand notices in respect of 245000 persons were already filed in the office. Letters have been written to those whose demand notices were already submitted in the offices.

LPG cylinder is 30 percent expensive than our LNG. The consumers will have not to purchase cylinder. Gas will be available in homes.

People should file applications direct in offices or online. This gas is expensive by 30 percent than other gas and its price has been fixed Rs 3200 per MMBTU LNG .
