Thorar: Sardar Abdul Khaliq Wasi, leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Azad Kashmir and former member of the Kashmir Council, has said that PML-N is an ideological, democratic, and dignified platform for the youth-where not only slogans are raised but a vision for practical service and nation-building exists.He was addressing a ceremony in Thorar on the occasion of several prominent youths joining the PML-N. The youths who joined PML-N include Amir Shehzad, Jahangir Arif, Naqqash Nadeem, and Abdar Khurshid, who declared it their intellectual and political preference. On this occasion, party flags and scarves were presented to them, and they were welcomed on behalf of Party Leader Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Senior Vice President and Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, President of the AJK chapter Shah Ghulam Qadir, former party president and ex-Prime Minister Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan, and other party leadership.Sardar Abdul Khaliq Wasi welcomed the youths and appreciated their enthusiasm.He said: 'Today's talented and aware youth have rejected the politics of chaos, lies, and intellectual confusion and have embraced the ideology of development, stability, and national unity. This signals change. We don't see these young people as mere workers-we consider them ideological heirs.'Sardar Abdul Khaliq Wasi stated that PML-N is the only party that has empowered the youth with leadership roles-from the local government level to the national level-and ensured their participation in developmental projects. He added that the younger generation is currently facing intellectual abandonment and political despair, and in such times, PML-N has emerged as a symbol of hope, integrity, and direction.He said: 'We don't just make speeches-we deliver plans. We don't just make promises-we show performance to the nation.' He assured that PML-N will ensure youth representation at every forum, prioritize resolving their issues, and offer them leadership roles in national politics.At the end of the ceremony, he congratulated all the youths who joined PML-N and said: 'This caravan will not stop now. The leadership, ideology, and politics of service by PML-N is the future of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.'On this occasion, local PML-N leaders including Sardar Qamar Jahangir Khan (President of the constituency), Sardar Ishtiaq Khan (Sub-Division President), Sardar Zaheer Khan, Sardar Altaf Hussain Khan, Sardar Nazir Khan, Sardar Asif, Sardar Faisal Mehmood, Sardar Ziyafat Khan, Sardar Noor Alam Khan, Sardar Safdar Khan, Subedar Sabir, Sardar Rasheed Shaeq, Sardar Rafiqat Hussain, Sardar Javed Ashraf, Sardar Adnan Basharat, and Sardar Irfan Latif also addressed the gathering and congratulated the youths on joining PML-N.Later, Sardar Abdul Khaliq Wasi met with Sardar Nazir Khan, Sardar Waseem Manzoor, Sardar Saad Anwar, Sardar Kashif Nazir, and others in Thorar and urged them to remain active in party activities.He also extended condolences at Androot Nara on the accidental death of Sardar Itrat Hussain Khan's daughter-in-law, visited Sardar Yameen Khan (father-in-law of Sardar Faisal) for inquiries about his health, and expressed condolences to Sardar Khalid and the bereaved family on the death of Sardar Sabir Khan in Maidan Rhaara Bandi.
