Karachi: Police station has been set up in Wafaqi Urdu University Science Campus Gulshan-e-Iqbal Karachi.

Aziz Bhatti police station is being shifted from its existing place to back side of the Urdu University BSC Block.

As per media reports the process of shifting police station to university is underway. Investigation of Aziz Bhatti police station has been shifted. SHO office is being prepared.

Formal permission for setting up the police station has been obtained from the university. The administration has given permission for shifting police station for six months only.

The place for setting up police has been given at the back of academic block of university.

According to police sources several police offices have been shifted in the police station. SHO Aziz Bhatti police station will sit in Urdu university after some days.

According to media report, movement of accused persons has started.

Police entry is being made from the same internal door of university wherefrom the students and teachers of examination branch come and go.

Shifting of police station has caused harassment among students particularly girls students . Teachers community too is surprised over shifting of police station in the university.

According to registrar Urdu University he has today come to know about shifting of police station. I don't remember if I have issued any permission or otherwise with my signatures. Campus officer can tell. May be they have got permission from vice chancellor . Police station should not be there in the university.
