Islamabad: The Senate Secretariat has issued a 40-point agenda for the Senate session scheduled to be held today (Wednesday) at the Parliament House after a one-day break.

The session will be chaired by Yousaf Raza Gillani and is scheduled to begin at 11:00 am.

According to the agenda, the House will take up several matters of national importance, including bills, resolutions, calling attention notices and other parliamentary business.

Government and opposition members are expected to debate key national issues including the economic situation, load-shedding, inflation and other public concerns during the session.
