Islamabad: Electricity tariff is likely to be scaled down by Rs 1.69 per unit.

As per media reports Power Distribution Companies have filed application with National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) for reduction in power tariff.

This application has been given for reduction under head of Monthly Fuel Price Adjustment for the month of July.

NEPRA will hear this application on August 28.

If NEPRA approves this application then consumers can get relief in the shape of reduction of power tariff in the next month electricity bills.
