Islamabad: Power tariff is likely to be reduced by 31 paisas per unit for one month.Petition seeking reduction in tariff under the head of monthly fuel price adjustment has been filed in NEPRA.Power distribution companies have sought negative fuel cost adjustment by paisas 31 per unit so that the consumers could be returned about Rs 4.5 billions through 20 percent increase in the month of July.NEPRA will hear the petition on August 28.
