Karachi: JI Amir Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman has said PPP system has been extended to Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) as gift.

” these people have not completed basic projects of water, employment and university road. PPP has been rewarded on the basis of form 47. They all settle it together how much share has to be obtained from uncle, he said this while addressing a press conference here Tuesday.

As per media report he held budget is being presented after two days while government is adding to the miseries of people instead of extending relief to them. Government is placing burden on people by imposing tax like levy in the budget. Mafias are being supported by leveling tax on every thing.

He went on to say sugar mafia is included in the decision of export of sugar which is part of both PPP and PML-N. This is entire consortium which is looting people.

He pointed out the bills of electricity are paid by the people which they don’t use. Therefore, unless the prices of electricity, petrol and gas are decreased the economy cannot move forward.

He demanded the prices of gas , electricity and petrol be curtailed immediately.

He warned if relief is not given to people in next budget then announcement for strike can be made on next day.

He said the rulers are not ready to end their luxuries

Terming FBR incompetent institution he said corruption of billion of rupees is there in FBR. . On the other side plans are being made to purchase costly vehicles for FBR.

Talking of water problem he said water does not come in the city for 15 days. K-4 which is project of 260 million gallons water has not been completed so far.

Both federation and Sindh government have failed in this matter. Immediate steps be taken in the budget to address water issue.

He underlined recovery of Pakistani citizens who are held hostage by pirates is responsibility of state. Total 17 persons have been kidnapped and 10 out of them belong to Karachi. The remaining belong to other areas. Neither food nor water is available to these hostages while their family members are suffering from mental anguish.

Contact has been made with government. Foreign ministry is not playing its role. This matter was raised in Sindh Assembly but it was declared federal issue while they all are Pakistani citizens.

He said this is matter of life and death . Protest will be voiced at every level if need be.

He called for immediate steps by government for their recovery.
