Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has approved the advice of the Prime Minister to summon a session of the National Assembly. In exercise of the powers conferred under Clause (1) of Article 54 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, 1973, the President has summoned the National Assembly to meet at the Parliament House, Islamabad, on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
