Prime Minister Invites Greater U.S. Investment at Reception for American Business Delegation


Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday invited greater investment by American companies in Pakistan while hosting a reception in honour of a visiting U.S. corporate delegation representing a wide range of business sectors.



The delegation included executives from the information technology, technology, energy, mining and manufacturing sectors.



Addressing the reception, the Prime Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening its longstanding partnership with the United States, emphasizing that economic cooperation remained a key pillar of bilateral relations.



He encouraged more U.S. companies to invest in Pakistan through mutually beneficial ventures across diverse sectors of the economy. During the interaction, the Prime Minister highlighted the important role of the Pakistani-American diaspora, saying it served as a vital bridge between Pakistan and the United States and made a significant contribution to promoting stronger economic and people-to-people ties.



Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, federal ministers and senior government officials also attended the reception.
