Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will undertake an official visit to Qatar from February 23-24, 2026, at the invitation of the Amir of the State of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
The Prime Minister will be accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, along with other ministers and senior officials. The visit reflects the longstanding fraternal ties between Pakistan and Qatar and emphasizes both countries' commitment to deepening multifaceted cooperation.
During his stay in Doha, Prime Minister Sharif will hold bilateral talks with His Highness Sheikh Tamim, covering the full spectrum of relations, including political engagement, economic collaboration, energy partnership, and people-to-people exchanges. The leaders will also explore new avenues of cooperation in trade, investment, energy, infrastructure development, and manpower export.
The visit will provide an opportunity for both leaderships to exchange views on regional and global developments, reaffirming their commitment to work together for peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.
