Propaganda against national security institutions on social media : Court approves bail after arrest plea of accused

Islamabad: District and Sessions Court Islamabad while announcing reserved judgment has approved bail after arrest plea of PTI worker Haider Saeed in the case related to propaganda against national security institutions on social media.

The court granted bail against surety bonds in the sum of Rs 2 lac Monday.

Judicial magistrate Abbas Shah announced reserved judgment on bail application.

Tabish Farooq counsel for the accused appeared in the court taking the plea this is case of further inquiry. Haider Saeed was kidnapped.

He gave references to the decisions of different superior courts pleading that the accused is neither head of any organization nor has he committed treason.

Judge Abbas Shah inquired from investigating officer of FIA about the charges.

Investigating officer told the court the accused fomented wrong information and reposted PLA post.

The defence counsel took the plea these posts triggered no provocation among the people.

Mother of Haider Saeed came on rostrum saying that when her son was lifted then she was told that he has murdered.

She said her son is being presented as terrorist while we are patriotic people .

The investigating officer told the court the account from where BLA post was reposted is a verified account.

The court reserved the judgment after hearing the arguments which was released later.
