Islamabad: Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has issued notice to Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) saying process of hockey club scrutiny will take place under the supervision of only PSB.

According to PSB, PHF issued schedule of club scrutiny without the consultation of PHF which is not approved and is creating confusion among stake holders.

PSB made it clear the process of scrutiny will be held in transparent manner as per decision of the institution and supervision.

It has been expected from PHF that it should issue clarification immediately in this respect so that the transparency could be maintained in the administrative matters of hockey.

PSB said this step on the part of federation is affecting transparency and confidence in the games.

Therefore, all stake holders will be included in the scrutiny process under correct and formal directives.
