Islamabad: PTI leaders while expressing grave concerns over jail trial of PTI founder in Al-Qadir trust case have demanded of Judge Nasir Javed of Accountability Court (AC) to stop the trial forthwith.PTI leaders including Shibli Faraz, information secretary Rauf Hassan and Suleman Niazi said this while addressing a press conference here Friday.Opposition leader in Senate Shibli Faraz said Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto gave a consensus constitution to Pakistan in 1973 and what his grandson is doing with this constitution today is before all of us. What is happening with the leader who gave awareness of real freedom to this country.PTI founder has always talked of supremacy of law and constitution. What is being done with PTI founder and his party is deplorable. If law and constitution are not upheld then country will not make progress. People gave decision on February 8 but their voice was not heard.Abu Zar Suleman Niazi member PTI Core Committee said secret trial of PTI founder is being conducted in jail i n Al-Qadir Trust case.All the rights of the accused are being violated in absurd way in jail.The judges who are hearing this case give extension of four weeks in the cases of other parties and if case is heard then it is heard only for half an hour. On the other hand the case regarding PTI founder is heard 7 to 8 hours daily. The judge goes to some room before giving date and then he gives date.Today we have filed application Nasir Javed is not capable to hear this case. . The way case is being heard it is recast of Iddat and cipher case. The decision of the case has already been written. Judge has disclosed his mind. He wants to award punishment to PTI founder at every cost.After Hammayun Dilawar and Abual Hasnat , a third judge has been brought now. Judge sahb should immediately recuse himself from hearing Imran Khan case. If he does not recuse himself then we are going to move court.Demand from Amnesty International for release of Imran Khan has come . Earlier the decision of UN working gr oup has come. UN has declared detention of PTI founder illegal.
