ISLAMABAD: PTI has challenged imposition of article 245 in all over the country.

A petition in this regard has been filed by Umar Ayub through Barrister Gauhar.

The petitioner has taken the plea article 245 cannot be used for political purposes. The slapping of article 245 is aimed at pitting political rivals against army. Trial in military courts is in derogation of basic rights.

The petitioner has requested the court to declare null and void the imposition of article 245 and crack down under this article.
