PTI founder Rehai force has never been established, KP CM files reply in FCC

Islamabad: Chief Minister (CM) KP Sohail Afridi has filed reply in Federal Constitutional Court (FCC) regarding PTI Founder Rehai Force. 8-page reply was filed through Advocate General (AG) KP .

It was stated in the reply that PTI Founder Rehai Force has never been established. The real step is peaceful movement for release of PTI founder which is armless and voluntary.

KP CM told FCC that Imran Khan Rehai Force" does not exist and no armed structure, paramilitary setup, or private militia has ever been formed or contemplated

The constitutional petition is based on political objectives and wrong statement. This petition is premature, hypothetical , and non maintainable. The petitioner has failed in proving violation of human rights.

The CM KP said in his reply Rehai Tehreek enjoys protection under article 16, 17 and 19 of the constitution and article 256 of the constitution has no relevance with it. Private Military organizations act 1973 does not apply to Rehai Tehreek. The allegation regarding threat to public safety are baseless. Comparison of Rehai Tehreek with past armed organizations is misleading.

Sohail Afridi requested the court to dismiss the constitutional petition at initial stage saying PTI founder Rehai Amman Tehreek be declared legal and constitutional.

FCC has fixed for hearing petition against PTI founder Rehai force on July 29.
