Islamabad: PTI while taking an important administrative decision about Local Bodies (LB ) polls in Islamabad has withdrawn notification of constitution of parliamentary board.
According to media reports, notification was issued on December 27 which has now been cancelled.
With this decision the process of nomination of candidates has also been suspended.
As per information issued by PTI the leadership has taken this step in the wake of prevailing situation and internal consultations.
Following the withdrawal of notification PTI strategy is likely to be changed with reference to LB polls in Islamabad. Possibility is there new strategy in this regard will come to open soon.
According to political observers the decision to halt formation of parliamentary board and process of nomination of candidates indicates party leadership wants to review afresh its preparations for L B polls and its organizational matters.
PTI leadership has not disclosed detailed reasons of this decision at public level. However inside sources of party said new methodology is being considered keeping in view political situation and L B polls.
