Islamabad: In order to prevent budget for the fiscal year 2025-26 from being passed PTI has made big offer to PPP for not participating in budget voting.

PTI senior leader Asad Qaisar held an important meeting with PPP senior leader Raja Pervaiz Ashraf in parliament house and the two exchanged views on possible joint strategy from opposition.

During the meeting Asad Qaisar cited to PPP recent statement saying if PPP is serious really in the matter of budget boycott then PTI is ready to support it in this move.

He made it clear that unity among opposition parties on the important national issue like budget can mount pressure on government.

Raja Pervaiz Ashraf assured Asad Qaisar on the occasion that he will place this offer from PTI before PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

He told Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is coming to parliament today and consultation will be made with him on this matter.

This meeting has taken place at such time when debate on budget is continuing in parliament and different opposition parties have stepped up criticism against the government.

Final stance from PPP on budget has yet to come. However the offer made by PTI to PPP has caused a stir in political circles .
